Victor Frankl was a prisoner of the Nazis during World War II. Held in a concentration camp, he survived and wrote a commentary on his experience, which he entitles Man's Search For Meaning. Frankl observed first hand how many people descended into the darkness of despair and depravity that surrounded them every day. When deprived of dignity and ceaselessly confronted with systemic depravation and destitution of any human kindness, many prisoners surrendered to their lowest nature and ultimately victimhood. However, there were some who survived...

Whether by grace, luck or some inner gift, some not only survived, they transcended their circumstances to become angels for others.

Man's Search For Meaning is a powerful testament to the incredible capacity of people to endure and ultimately triumph. Frankl's observations became the basis of what he later called Logo Therapy.

G. Charles Andersen, M.A. is not a psychologist. He is however, a gifted mythologist. Mythology differs from Psychology is some very fundamental ways. Psychology is therapeutic in the sense that it is designed to relieve pain and help people return to normal functioning in their daily life.

MythoTherapy is fundamentally about acquiring and utilizing time honored wisdom. Through wisdom, people learn from their pain--not primarily to return to normal functionality, but to find alignment with perhaps and entirely different way of being in the world.

Transformation Synergetics is about reclaiming a purpose we may never have known before.
